Marbled Nemadji Style Bud Vase

$39.00

Like a little landscape.

This slender pottery bud vase is covered in fluid ribbons of forest green, coral, red, ochre, gray, and black, swirling across a softly textured cream ground.

Its elongated neck rises from a gourd like base, giving the small vessel a surprisingly elegant silhouette. The marbled decoration shifts completely as the vase is turned, with pools of color dissolving into delicate contoured lines that feel somewhere between stone, water, and topographic maps.

The finish recalls the distinctive marbled pottery associated with Nemadji ware, making it especially beautiful among collected studio ceramics and earthy, handmade objects.

Small enough to tuck almost anywhere, it works beautifully on its own or holding a single stem.

Vintage condition with surface variation, wear, and irregularities consistent with age and handmade pottery. Maker unknown. Please review photographs carefully for condition.

Dimensions: 5 ¾ “ H x 1 ¼ “ W (at opening) x 1 ¾ “ (at base)
