A simple symbol, beautifully rendered, give peace a chance ☮
Carved from warm walnut, this vintage American Dove of Peace reduces the familiar bird form to a wonderfully graphic silhouette. Small handcut details give the piece an almost calligraphic quality, somewhere between folk art and modern sculpture.
The natural grain moves visibly through the carving, adding warmth and depth to its abstract form. Its openwork design creates shifting shapes and shadows throughout the day.
Dimensions: 5 ½ “ H x 8 ½ “ L x ½ “ W
*Vintage condition with surface variations consistent with age and previous display. Please review photographs for details.
