Sculptural storage from IKEA’s modern design archive.
Designed by Karl Malmvall for IKEA, the VURM wine rack transforms a simple household object into a rhythmic piece of design. Formed from stainless steel, its repeating curved bands cradle four bottles while creating an almost ribbon like silhouette.
The polished and brushed surfaces shift beautifully in the light, giving the piece a graphic quality even when displayed empty.
A discontinued IKEA design with the clean geometry and clever utility that make earlier pieces from the brand increasingly compelling to collect.
Dimensions: 17 ¾ “ H x approx 5” W
*Pre owned condition with surface scratches and wear to the stainless steel consistent with use. Please review photographs for condition.
